The Panda’s head is able to move left and right and also to rotate its head clockwise and counter-clockwise. Two servos are used to create these movements. It also has an Ultrasonic sensor to trigger the movement of the head and to turn on the LEDs. The parts for the kit are 3D printed.   The color shown may not be the same as supplied in the kitThis kit has an interface connector which will allow the kit to be used with other microcontrollers such as a Raspberry Pi. An Arduino microcontroller is included in the kit.  

The kit is assembled using a hot glue gun.

Engineering drawings and electrical schematic diagram are included in the kit. 

Programming

The student can program the Panda using Mblock or C++ Programming.   Example code for Arduino will be included in the kit. The student can also create their custom code.

    • Be careful when using the tools,  If you are not sure on how to use the tool ask your instructor or person in charge.

    • Don’t touch the microcontroller or electronic hardware with your hands since static discharge may cause damage.   

    • Incorrect connections may damage the hardware therefore double check the connections before applying power.

    • Choking Hazards.  The product may contain small parts, sharp points, plastic Please keep away from small children.  

    • Please place the product in a dry environment to avoid damage to the product.

    • Replacement parts maybe available for additional cost.
