Our project kits are designed to be used in STEM (Science, Engineering, Technology and Mathematics) classrooms and by individuals interested in learning about STEM.
The STEM projects are designed for students who are interested in STEM or may want to learn more about STEM. The projects will challenge the students to learn more about STEM. Each project will explain how the project works and engage the students to learn more. Also the projects are designed so they will be able to design their own projects by using what they learned from the projects.
Our team developed the projects based on the hands on approach to learning. The students will actually build the projects and learn how to interface it to a microcontroller such as an Arduino, Raspberry Pi and others. Some of the projects will have a common interface which allows various microcontrollers to be used on that specific project. The students will learn how to interface the hardware to the software. The student’s code may not always work when it is initally downloaded to the microcontroller. The project will teach the students how to troubleshoot The will learn to document their code so it will be easier to troubleshoot when there is an issue or when they want to make revisions.
Our team goal is to engage the student to work on the projects and learn to develop other STEM projects from the experience gained from working on the projects.
All the material required will be furnished. A toolkit may be purchased separately. This tool kit needs to be purchased once since it can be used on other projects.
The spare or replacement parts and material used are available for a fee. Only custom parts will be the 3D printed parts. The 3D STL files will not be included in the kit. The 3D STL files will be included in the custom projects.
